| Zum 1.7.2018 sind die Renten in den alten Bundesländern um 3,22 % und in den neuen Bundesländern um 3,37 % gestiegen (BR-Drs. 140/18 (B) vom 8.6.2018). Ob sich dadurch eine Steuerpflicht ergibt, ist nicht pauschal zu beantworten und hängt von mehreren Faktoren ab (z. B. von der Rentenhöhe und dem Renteneintrittsalter). Ferner ist relevant, ob weitere steuerpflichtige Einkünfte bestehen.
