Unterhaltsleistungen können im Veranlagungszeitraum 2016 unter gewissen Voraussetzungen bis zu 8.652 EUR als außergewöhnliche Belastungen abgezogen werden. Der Höchstbetrag ist um die eigenen Einkünfte und Bezüge der unterhaltenen Person zu kürzen, soweit diese einen anrechnungsfreien Betrag von 624 EUR übersteigen. Zu solchen Einkünften gehört nach den Urteilen der Finanzgerichte Münster und Sachsen auch das gesamte Elterngeld, das die unterstützte Person bezieht – also auch der Sockelbetrag von 300 EUR monatlich. |
