Kurzarbeit: Erleichterter Zugang und Erstattung der Sozialversicherungsbeiträge verlängert

Die Zugangserleichterungen zum Kurzarbeitergeld und die vollständige Erstattung der Sozialversicherungsbeiträge wurden aktuell um drei Monate bis zum 31.12.2021 verlängert. |

Beachten Sie | Die bisher geltende Stichtagsregelung zum 30.9.2021 für die Einführung der Kurzarbeit wurde aufgegeben.

Vom erleichterten Zugang profitieren demzufolge auch Betriebe, die nach einer Unterbrechung der Kurzarbeit von drei Monaten oder mehr ab Oktober 2021 wieder oder erstmals pandemiebedingt von Arbeitsausfall oder Betriebsschließungen betroffen sind.

Damit gelten für Unternehmen bis zum 31.12.2021 folgende vereinfachte Regelungen:

  • Verzicht auf den Aufbau von negativen Arbeitssalden.
  • Die Zahl der Beschäftigten, die vom Arbeitsausfall betroffen sein müssen, bleibt für diese Betriebe von mindestens einem Drittel auf mindestens 10 % abgesenkt.
  • Kurzarbeitergeld für Leiharbeitnehmer, wenn der Verleihbetrieb ebenfalls Kurzarbeit eingeführt hat.

Dem Arbeitgeber werden bis zum 31.12.2021 die von ihm während des Bezugs von Kurzarbeitergeld allein zu tragenden Beiträge zur Sozialversicherung auf Antrag von der Bundesagentur für Arbeit in pauschalisierter Form erstattet.
